Qualyst, Inc., a privately held company, announced today the hiring of Andrew Chu as Director of Business Development reporting directly to CEO Scott Neuville.

Mr. Chu has extensive life sciences business development experience including positions at TimeLogic, Accelrys, Dow Chemical, and most recently as Vice President of Business Development at QuantumBio.

Qualyst also announced the promotion of Ian Mehr to Vice President of Business Development. Mehr joined Qualyst in 2003 and has responsibility for major account licensing activity, management of the ongoing MDS alliance, and all marketing activities.
